I just got an offer to upgrade from my green card with 125k bonus. I already have 175k point on my green card. Looking to travel with my family to Japan next year but don’t know how to transfer those points to travel partner when I’m ready

Gold is more like a daily useable card that act as powehouse for earning points. Csp itself is a full on travel card that offers tremendous protection.

Fun fact: 1.) Here in NYC, Dunkin and Starbucks fans are like Mets and Yankees fans. Your Dunkin guys will say that Starbucks has crappy coffee. Not the lattes and custom stuff, just the plain 'ole cup of coffee. While your Starbucks fans would NEVER get a latte at Dunkin. 2.) When Krispy Kreme first came to the east coast it failed. The main feedback was that their donuts were too sweet. Too 'sugary' for the northeast tastebuds I guess. For me I would always prefer Dunkin of KK. Cheers!

Unable to link it with venmo I got notified about the deposit amount from Evolve but venmo says it's wrong what should I do?

My wife just so happed to have booked a restaurant a few weeks ago for our upcoming anniversary which is a part of the Resi program, I guess I know which card I’ll be using. My kids wanted to grab an ice cream yesterday “coincidentally” as we walked past Dunkin / Baskin Robbins. 😂 The credits are 110% annoying but if they organically fit your lifestyle it’ll be worth it and for my use case it is more valuable then before.

Nothing beats the classic GOLD, NOTHING!

I was looking at the card anddddd , not anymore 😒.

$325/0.04 = $8125 on dining and groceries per year. That’s about $156 per week just to break even. There’s no way this card makes sense for most ppl. Unless you have like a giant family or make over $200k a year.

I've had the gold card for 4 Years now and I love it.. But I'm not too happy with the annual fee increase.. Luckily I was only charged $250 this year, but next year I may reconsider if the rewards get worse.

The upgrade is based on availability , it's not guaranteed. That level of upgrade, you got lucky.

This change actually works out really well for me. Never had a problem with the $240 dining credits, and we always use Resy for birthday dinners.

imo a bit of a biased review leaning more towards trying to get people to use your referral codes - the amex gold card is a good card but a subset of people. if you find yourself already using uber or grubhub all the time, it’s a no brainer. this is why I am keeping the gold. however, you can find alternative cards with similar points back on dining and groceries but with 0 or lower annual fees. booking hotels through amex and the hotel collection is iffy because most of the time you can find way cheaper rates on google or directly through the hotel.

I have a CSReserve, and after contacting them, my understanding is that the Priority Pass Select membership is still included; they only did away with the restaurant credits. I was told I can still access the lounges and bring up to two guests even after the restaurant credit benefit ended.

You have to spend $8,000 in six months to get those 175,000 points. You don't get them just for signing up.
